How do I connect my DVD player to my wall-mounted plasma TV, with directv receiver?

My house is new construction so I had the cables run behind the walls from the TV, which is mounted above the fireplace, to custom-built cabinets, on either side of the fireplace, which hold my dvd player and directv receiver. The cables that I have to work w/ are both being used by the directv receiver. So is there any way I can hook the dvd player up through the receiver?
