I just bought a 32′ HDTV and a wall-mount about a week ago. It’s all mounted on the wall but I must say I don’t like how it slides from side to side. If god forbid there was ever an earthquake, my TV will fall off the mount and break to pieces.
The wall mount didn’t come with anything to prevent it from sliding off the mount. Is it normal for the TV to slide like this?

No, usually mounts have a range of movements but have stops on the ends. I suggest maybe wrapping plastic ties or tape on the ends of the rails so the TV can’t slide completely off.
